Alternative Student Loans for College Financial Aid

 

G Financial Aid Glossary and related terms

G's

General Education Development (GED) Diploma: A high school correspondent test that still qualifies a person to obtain financial assistance after receiving a certificate stating the completion of the course although even though not graduating from a four year high school.

Gift Aid: Usually including scholarships or funding, with this undergraduate financial aid, there will not be any duties or reimbursement necessary.

Gift Aid Grant: Free money meant for students to help recompense a portion of their college expenses, without having to be paid back.

Graduate or Professional Student: Students with a degree higher than a bachelor’s degree whose taking classes in an advanced establishment, or someone taking classes in order to move forward to a proficient degree or skill. Student has to have been enrolled in an advanced establishment as a full-time student for 3 years. Student, being an undergraduate, must not be obtaining Title IV aid at time of acceptance.

Guarantor or Guarantee Agency: These organizations ( nonprofit making or state), help protect federal government’s school loans programs, as well as covering moneylender’s student loans.
